CHATTOGRAM, Oct 30, 2023 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Minister and
Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today expressed profound
shock and sorrow at the death of former General Secretary (GS) of Rangunia
upazila Awami League (AL) Kazi Mohammad Jashim Uddin.

In a message of condolence, the minister said Kazi Mohammad Jashim Uddin, who
upheld the spirit of the Liberation War throughout his life and followed the
ideology of Bangabandhu, has been a shining example for serving the local
people in their needs.

The minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed
deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Kazi Jashim died of cardiac arrest at his city residence on Sunday night.
