DHAKA, Oct 30, 2023 (BSS) - The ruling Awami League (AL) has announced its central finance and planning affairs sub-committee with Prime Minister's ICT Affairs Adviser Dr Mashiur Rahman as its chairman and AL's finance and planning secretary Waseqa Ayesha Khan as member secretary.

As per the directive of AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, party's general secretary Obaidul Quader approved the committee.

The sub-committee members included Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali, AHM Mustafa Kamal, Abul Kalam Azad, MA Mannan, Md Abdus Shahid, Major (retd) Rafiqul Islam Bir Uttam, Saber Hossain Chowdhury, Mustafizur Rahman Chowdhury, Md Abdul Wodud, Kazi Nabil Ahmed, Abul Kalam Md Ahsanul Haque Chowdhury, Ahmed Firoz Kabir, Rumana Ali, Hafiz, Ahmed Majumder and Biren Shikder and others.

Besides, a 24-member expert panel comprising noted personalities has been formed for the sub-committee.
