GAZIPUR, Oct 31, 2023 (BSS) - A large number of leaders and activists of Gazipur Metropolitan Awami League (AL) and its allied bodies today held a protest rally against the BNP-Jamaat's 72-hour blockade in different areas of the district town.

The protest rally was brought out from in front of Tongi Bazar Senakalyan Bhaban which was paraded the important streets of the district town, led by Gazipur Metropolitan Awami League President, and Gazipur Development Authority Chairman Advocate Azmat Ullah Khan.

Former Vice-President of Gazipur Metropolitan Awami League Alhaj Md. Osman Ali, Joint General Secretary Matiur Rahman Moti, Ward No. 57 Councilor of Gazipur City Corporation Alhaj Md. Ghiyas Uddin Sarkar, former Advisory Committee Member of Metropolitan Awami League Alhaj Kazi Md. Salim, Bir Muktijoddha Joynal Abedin and leaders and activists of its associate bodies, among others, were participated in the protest rally.
