DHAKA, Oct 31, 2023 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of Police arrested BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas and Joint Secretary General Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal from the city's Shahjahanpur and Kathalbagan areas this evening.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman confirmed the matter to BSS, saying that the police arrested them over the charges of killing a police constable and carrying out atrocities in the city during the BNP's grand rally on Saturday.
 
They were taken to the DB office.
