SANGSAD BHABAN, Nov 2, 2023 (BSS) - Bangladesh Armed forces have earned a
total of over Taka 27,941.63 crore from foreign missions in last 23 years.

"Bangladesh Armed Forces have earned over Taka 27,941.63 crore so far from
employment in foreign missions since 2000-2001," said Anisul Huq who is also
responsible for the Defense Ministry.

The minister said this while responding to a query which was raised by
treasury bench lawmaker Habibur Rahman of Bogura-5 at the Jatiya Sangad with
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.

The average annual foreign exchange earnings from the foreign missions was
Taka 1,214.85 crore during this time.
