DHAKA, Nov 2, 2023 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) Presidium Member Jahangir Kabir Nanak today urged his party leaders and activists to remain alert on the street till the upcoming general election to resist BNP’s conspiracy.  
 
“BNP and Jamaat are trying to foil the next general election. So, the AL leaders and workers will remain alert on the streets,” he told a representative meeting of Dhaka city north unit of AL.  
 
BNP wants to bring an undemocratic government in the country but AL leaders and activists won`t  allow it to happen, he added.
 
AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will not bow down to any evil forces and foreigners as she is the daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, said Nanak.  
 
He said it is proved that the BNP is a terrorist party and the countrymen don`t believe the BNP-Jamaat as BNP carried out terrorist activities in the name of grand rally on October 28 in capital.  
 
Dhaka city north AL President Sheikh Bazlur Rahman preside over the meeting while AL organizing secretary Mirza Azam,  Dhaka city north AL general secretary S.M. Mannan Kochi and Dhaka city north AL different thana, ward presidents and general secretaries were present in the meeting.
