SYLHET, Nov 4, 2023 (BSS)- Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed today urged the people to vote for 'Boat', the election symbol of Awami League (AL), in the next general election to continue the development spree in the education sector.

The minister said this while inaugurating a four-storied academic madrasah building and construction of madrasah boundary wall in Barhal Fazil Madrasah of Purba Alirgaon Union of Gowainghat Upazila of the district as the chief guest.

The academic madrasah building was built at a cost of Taka 3.5 crore while the total cost of construction of the madrasah boundary wall was Taka 20 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said providing appropriate education and training in the classroom and increasing opportunities for ICT based education can play a vital role in human resource development.
