DHAKA, Nov 4, 2023 (BSS) - Store and Purchase Officer of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Uttam Kumar passed away while undergoing treatment at a city hospital today.

"Uttam breathed his last at 3am on November 4 at the age of 53," said a DSCC press release.

He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives, colleagues and admirers to mourn to mourn his death.

According to release, Uttam, also former DSCC public relations officer, was suffering from cancer.

DSCC authorities expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Uttam Kumar and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
