DHAKA, Nov 05, 2023 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted that light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna division in the next 24 hours commencing from 9am today.

"Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain at one or two places over Khulna division," said a met office forecast for the last twenty-four hours begins from 9 am today.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 34.0 degrees Celsius at Jashore and today's minimum temperature 16.3 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tetulia.

Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6am today was recorded 17 millimeters (mm) at Khepupara
