DHAKA, Nov 9, 2023 (BSS) - The government has deployed 44 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in Dhaka and adjacent areas to ensure security of garment factories during the third phase of 48-hour nationwide blockade called by BNP-Jamaat.

BGB public relations officer Shariful Islam confirmed this information to BSS today.

Besides, sufficient number of BGB has been deployed to control the law and order situation in view of the ongoing political situation and the blockade programme called by various parties.
