DHAKA, Nov 12, 2023 (BSS) - Paying glowing tributes to late Awami League (AL) Ranguniya upazila unit leader Kazi Jashim, Information and Broadcasting Minister and AL Joint General Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud today said Jashim took the politics as oath.

AL Ranguniya upazila unit late leader Kazi Jashim was one of them who devoted himself for the politics and organized the party in the upazila of Chattogram district, he said while addressing a memorial meeting of AL Ranguniya upazila unit former general secretary Kazi Mohammad Jashim Uddin organized by AL Sarafbhata union of the upazila.

Dr Hasan said Kazi Jashim was one of the AL popular leaders in Ranguniya upazila.

AL North district unit president MA Salam addressed the meeting as the key speaker with AL Sarafbhata union unit president Abdur Rouf Master in the chair.

AL North district unit vice presidents valiant Freedom Fighter Swajan Kumar Talukder and Freedom Fighter Abul Kashem Chisti, among others, addressed the meeting as special guests while AL Sarafbhata union unit general secretary Ahsan Habib conducted it.

Kazi Jashim Uddin died of a cardiac arrest on October 29 last.
