DHAKA, Nov 14, 2023 (BSS) - Awami Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash today said an anti-state quarter is behind the price hike of essential goods in the country and they should be brought to justice.

"A greedy traders are hatching conspiracy against the country's people and that is why they should be brought to justice," he told a function of three associate bodies of the ruling Awami League.

Jubo League, Swechchhasebak League and Chhatra League jointly arranged the function in front of Bangla College at Mirpur here.
 
The AL affiliated entities sold vegetables at fair price.
 
Parash also said the BNP-Jamaat is isolated from the country's people, so they are hatching conspiracy in the name of movement.

BNP wants to come to the state power again through illegal means, so all should remain alert against the BNP-Jamaat's plots, he said.
 
The Jubo League chairman said they will continue selling vegetables at fair price to the people and will buy vegetables directly from farmers.
 
Jubo League General Secretary Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil, Swechchhasebak League President Gazi Mesbahul Hossain Sachu and its General Secretary Afzalur Rahman Babu, Bangladesh Chhatra League President Saddam Hossain and its General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Enan, among others, were present at function.
