DHAKA, Nov 17, 2023 (BSS) - Advocate Haris Uddin Ahmed, Awami League (AL)

Jatiya Committee Member, valiant freedom fighter and former president of
Gazipur District Chhatra League and Jubo League, passed away this morning.
 
He was 74.

Haris breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a city hospital today,
said a press release signed by AL office secretary Barrister Biplab Barua.

He left behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and
admirers to mourn his death.

Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader today expressed profound
shock and sorrow at the death of Haris.

In a condolence message, Quader prayed for the eternal peace of the departed
soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
