DHAKA, Nov 23, 2023 (BSS) - Miscreants today set fire to a bus of "Ajmeri Paribahan" in Dhaka's Bijoynagar area during 48 hour blockade in sixth spell enforced by BNP-Jamaat.

The bus was set ablaze at Nightingale intersection of the Bijoynagar area in city at 12:53 pm, said Talha Bin Zashim, station officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (media cell).

On information, two firefighting units from Siddique Bazar Fire Station went to the spot and doused the fire, he said.

Today is the second day of the two-day countrywide blockade in sixth spell called by BNP and its allies.
