DHAKA, Nov 25, 2023 (BSS) - A six-member team of the Nanjing Vocational
Institute of Transport Technology (NJITT) led by its Deputy Party Secretary
Wen Aiming called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. A S M
Maksud Kamal today at the latter's office of the university.

Other members of the team were Prof. Jiang Ling, Dean and Prof. Zhao Yanjing,
Associate Dean of the Faculty of Road, Bridge and Harbor Engineering, Dean of
the Faculty of Architecture and Engineering Prof. Zhang Wenbin, Director of
International Chinese Language Teaching and Research Center Ye Yaojun and
Deputy Director of Development Planning Office Zhang Dawei of NJITT, a DU
press release said here today.

Dean of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences of DU Prof. Dr. Md.
Zillur Rahman and Director of DU Public Relations Office Mahmood Alam were
present on this occasion.

During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest especially the
possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research
programs between DU and NJITT.

They stressed the need for exchange of faculty members, researchers and
students between these two institutions.

Dr Maksud Kamal thanked the Chinese team members for their visit to and keen
interest in undertaking academic and research collaborations with DU.
