DHAKA, Dec 4, 2023 (BSS) - Two separate courts here today convicted and 
sentenced 15 leaders and activists of BNP to three-year jail in two separate 
sabotage cases filed with Mugda Police Station and Rampura Police Station.

Of the 15, one Jahirul Islam was sentenced to three years of rigorous 
imprisonment in the case filed with Mugda Police Station.

Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Tofazzal Hossain pronounced 
the judgment. The court also acquitted 38 from the case.

Meanwhile, the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Moinul Islam convicted 
and sentenced 14 leaders and activists of BNP to three-year jail in a 
sabotage case filed with Rampura Police Station.

The convicts are- Foyej Ahmed, Abul Mecher, Helal Kabir, Alam, Shovon, Kamal 
Hossain, Nafid Sarwar, Ashraful Arif, Moshiur Rahman, Rezaul Karim,Main Uddin 
Ahmed, Mirza Hasan Imam, Ahammed Ali Chowdhury and Didarul Islam.
