DHAKA, Dec 7, 2023 (BSS) - A bus named Taranga Paribahan was set on fire in front of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) at Shahbag in the city this afternoon.

Md Shajahan Shikdar, deputy assistant director of Fire Service and Civil Defence (media cell), told BSS that a group of miscreants set fire to the bus at 1:35pm.

On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the fire.

No causalities were reported in this incident.
