DHAKA, Dec 10, 2023 (BSS)-The newly elected executive committee of the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) led by its President Syed Shukur Ali Shuvo today paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at His portrait at Dhanmondi here.

They paid homage by placing wreaths at the portrait of the Father of the Nation in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in city’s Dhanmondi area.

After placing the wreath, members of the DRU executive committee prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and most of his family members, who were assassinated on 15 August in 1975.

Among others, DRU finance secretary Md Zakir Hussein, sports secretary Md Mahbubur Rahman, cultural secretary Monowar Hossain, executive members Farhana Yasmin (Juthi), Muhibullah Muhib and DRU permanent members Aminul Islam and Masud Mia were also present.
