TUNGIPARA, Dec 12, 2023 (BSS) - Actress Mahiya Mahi paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara today.

She placed a wreath at the mausoleum of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman this afternoon. Placing the wreath, she stood in solemn silence there for a few moments. Mahiya Mahi also offered Sura Fateha and took part in a Munajat seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of Bangabandhu and the martyrs in 1971 there.

Mahiya Mahi, who is contesting in the constituency Rajshahi-1 in the upcoming national election as an independent candidate, signed on the visitor's book at administrative building at the mausoleum later.
