CHATTOGRAM, Dec 15, 2023 (BSS) - The six death anniversary of former three times mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury was observed here today with paying glowing tributes to the legendary politician who contributed his whole life to the well being of the toiling masses.

The death anniversary was observed through a day-long programmes including placing of wreaths at his grave by AL, its different front organizations of the leaders and activists including its city unit acting president Mahtab Uddin Chowdhury and General Secretary and former city Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin, city Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, Chattogram Development Authority Chairman Jahirul Alam Dobash and late Mohiuddin eldest son and deputy minister for education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel.
 
Khatme Quarn, Milad Mahfil have been arranged marking the death anniversary.

A memorial meeting was held at city's Hotel Shoikat auditorium with city Awami League President Mahtab Uddin in the chair.
