DHAKA, Dec 18, 2023 (BSS) - Bangladesh today observed state mourning at the
death of its real friend Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-
Sabah.

The national flag was kept at half-mast at all government, semi-government
and autonomous institutions, all government and non-government buildings
including educational institutions and Bangladesh missions abroad in
observance of the state mourning.

Special prayers were offered at all mosques and other religious institutions
seeking eternal peace of the departed soul.

Kuwait's Emir passed away on Saturday at the age of 86.
