   SYLHET, Sept 9, 2021 (BSS) - Planning Minister MA Mannan today said that
the Awami League government has created a milestone of development in the
country as Bangladesh witnessed tremendous development activities over the
last 12 years.

   Mannan said this while laying foundation stones of two projects (8,191
meter road repair and construction work) with Taka 8.01 crore at Pagla Bazar-
Birgaon Road under Shantiganj upazila in Sunamganj.

   Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, he also said that the Awami
League government works taking alongside the common people and it does not
unleash development causing harm to people.

   Mentioning that massive development works are going on across the country
under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the Planning
Minister called upon the local people to remain united against all kinds of
conspiracies to maintain peace and continue the pace of development.

  Sunamganj district council chairman and district AL Vice President Nurul
Huda Mukut, deputy commissioner M Jahangir Hossain, LGED executive engineer
Mahbub Alam, UNO M Anwar Uz Zaman, additional police super M Hayatunnabi,
among others, spoke on the occasion.
