BOGURA, Dec 21, 2023 (BSS)- A total of 145 freedom fighter policemen and martyred police families were accorded a reception.

The District Police Administration organised the reception ceremony at the Bogura Police Lines School and College Auditorium today to mark the Victory Day 2023 of the country's independence.

Retired Superintendent of Police and Member of Parliament of Bogura-5 constituency Bir Muktijoddha Habibur Rahman addressed the function as the chief guest with Bogura District Superintendent of Police (Promoted as Additional DIG) Sudip Kumar Chakraborty in the chair this morning.

Special Superintendent of Police (CID) Mohammad Kawsar Shikdar, Additional Superintendent of Police (Superintendent of Police promoted) Snigdh Akhtar, Commandant in-service Superintendent of Police Belal Hossain, RAB-12 Superintendent of Police Mir Monir Hossain also spoke as the special guests.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Promoted Superintendent of Police) Abdur Rashid, Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Suman Ranjan Sarkar and Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Sharafat Islam, among others, were present on the occasion.
