DHAKA, Dec 21, 2023 (BSS) - Dhaka-based Patuakhali Journalists' Forum (PJF)
today got its new executive committee with Md. Sahidul Islam Rana, Special
Correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha BSS) as the president
and RTV's Assistant News Editor Saikhul Islam Ujjal as General Secretary (GS)
for the year 2024-25.

The other office bearers are: Vice-President Gazi Abdul Hadi (Ittefaq), Joint
General Secretary Aminul Islam (ATN News), Treasurer Ganesh Chandra Howladar
(Darpan Pratidin), Organizational Secretary Shamsul Haque Mohammad Miraj
(Kaler Kantho), Office Secretary Taimun Islam Raihan (RTV), Broadcasting and
Cultural Editor Md. Shaheed Rana (Uttar-Dakhhin).

PJF adviser and chief election commissioner Dr. SMA Zafar Badsha announced
the committee in a biennial general meeting (AGM) - 2023 held at the Paltan
Tower in Nayapaltan here this afternoon.

The elected executive members include: Harlal Roy Sagor (Janta), Jawahar
Iqbal Khan (Bhorer Patha), Mizanur Rahman (Ajkal Kantho), Md Zahir Uddin
Babar (BSS), Special Correspondent and business editor of the daily
Bangladesh Pratidin Ruhul Amin Russell.

Other EC commissioners: PJF advisers - Valiant Freedom Fighter Habibullah
Rana and Akon Abdul Mannan were in the election commission.
