DHAKA, Dec 22, 2023 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested a notorious drug dealer and armed terrorist from Kadamtoli area of the capital.

RAB-10 Deputy Director Aminul Islam confirmed the matter to BSS this afternoon.

The arrested is Md Monir Hossain, 51, son of late Shahjahan of East Jurain area of the capital.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-10 arrested him from the East Jurain area of Kadamtoli police station at 6:30 pm on Thursday.

RAB seized one pistol, one magazine, two rounds of cartridge, two walkie-talkie wireless sets, two walkie-talkie set chargers, 200 grams of ganja and Taka 57,000 in cash from his possession.

Legal action has been taken in this regard.
