GOPALGANJ, Dec 28, 2023 (BSS) - Election campaign for Awami League nominated candidate for Gopalganj-3 constituency (Kotalipara-Tungipara) Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was held at Amtali Union under Kotalipara upazila of the district last night (Wednesday).

Amtali Union Awami League organised the campaign for the national polls slated for January 7.

Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, member of Central Working Committee of Awami League Advisory Council and former president of FBCCI was present as the chief guest in the meeting on this occasion.

President of Amtali Union Awami League Hafizur Rahman presided over the public meeting last night.

Representative of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's constituency and former senior secretary Md. Shahid Ulla Khandaker addressed the function as the main speaker.

President of District Awami League (AL) Mahabub Ali Khan, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Aynal Hossain Sheikh, Amtali Union Election Management Committee Convener Mujibur Rahman Hawlader, Upazila Awami League Vice-President Golam Kibria Daria, its Organizing Secretary Matiar Rahman Hazra, Awami League Leaders Kamal Sen, Jahangir Hossain Khan, Upazila Awami League Publicity Secretary Hannan Sheikh, Office Secretary Mizanur Rahman Bulbul, Amtali Union Parishad Chairman Rafeza Begum, Upazila Jubo League General Secretary Babul Hazra, former Upazila Chhatra League General Secretary Rafiqul Islam and Upazila Chhatra League president Swapan Talukder, among others, spoke.
