DHAKA, Jan 1, 2024 (BSS) - The 72nd foundation day of the Asiatic Society of Bangladesh will be celebrated on Wednesday. 

Marking the day, former National University vice-chancellor and Asiatic Society of Bangladesh Fellow Prof Abdul Momin Chowdhury will deliver a lecture on "Dr Muhammad Shahidullah: Linguist-Teacher and Philosopher" at 9:30 a.m. at the Asiatic Society. 

Asiatic Society President Prof Emeritus Khondoker Bazlul Hoque will chair it.

ASB Fellows, former ministers, academics, scholars, educational luminaries, high officials, distinguished personalities, guests and members of the society will attend the programme.
