DHAKA, Sept 10, 2021 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
arrested two persons on charge of embezzlement of Taka 17,000 crore from
different subscribers.

   The arrested were identified as Ragib Hasan, chairman of Ehsan group,
along with his close associate.

   "They have been arrested based on accurate allegation and information,"
confirmed by Commander Khondoker Al Mayeen, director of legal and media
section of the RAB Headquarters.

  Ehsan Group Chairman had allegedly purchased land in the name of his own
and his other relatives instead of the organisation by swindling money from
the subscribers, said the allegation.

  Ragib also embezzled huge amount of money by selling around 90 percent of
these land through hide and seek.
