WASHINGTON, Jan 4, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will head back to the Middle East on Thursday on a new crisis trip, a US official said, as fears rise of a regional escalation of the nearly three-month-old war.

The top US diplomat will leave Thursday evening on a trip that will include Israel, a US official said on condition of anonymity.
