DHAKA, Jan 6, 2024 (BSS)-Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader today urged the law enforcing agencies to conduct probes into the fire erupted in Benapole Express yesterday aiming to unearth whether it was a part of sabotage and arson terrorism.

He made the call in a condolence message issued over the fire incident took place in Dhaka-bound Benapole Express, leaving four passengers dead.

Quader also asked the law enforcing agencies to bring the people responsible for the inferno to justice after identifying proper reason behind it by conducing probes.    

In addition, he requested all concerned to take necessary steps and provide all-out cooperation for the victims of the fire incident.

The AL general secretary expressed deep shock at the death of train passengers in the fire incident and convoyed sympathy to the bereaved families. He sought early recovery of the injured passengers too.
