DHAKA, Jan 6, 2023 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua today said that BNP is carrying out terrorist activities intentionally to intimidating the voters who are interested to go to the polling stations.

"BNP is carrying out terrorist activities on purpose to intimidate those who want to come to the polling stations to cast their votes," he said.

Biplab Barua was talking to the journalists after lodging a complaint about the terrorist activities of BNP at the Election Commission in city's Agargaon area.

He said EC received the complaint about the terrorist activities of BNP in the national elections and it will report the matter to the concerned executive department of the government and the home affair ministry.

He urged all to participate in the January 7 general elections, a festival of democracy, in a cheerful mood ignoring all conspiracies and fears.
He hoped that the majority of voters will exercise their right to vote with enthusiasm.

Barua led a delegation of AL that also included party's Legal Affairs Secretary Advocate Najibullah Hiru, Central Working Committee Member Tarana Halim, Deputy Office Secretary Sayem Khan and President of Jubo Mohila League Daisy Sarwar also accompanied Biplab Barua.
