DHAKA, Jan 07, 2024 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary and its candidate of Dhaka-8 constituency AFM Bahauddin Nasim today said the people of the country boycotted those who opposed the vote.

"Ruling Awami League is a traditional party...development and prosperity was the AL's gift for the people during the last 15 years. So people are going to the polling centers rejecting the opposition quarters", he told the journalists after exercising his vote at Abujor Gifari College center here.

BNP is frightened of polls as the people have no faith in that party, Nasim said, adding BNP and their allies are boycotting the elections and holding various programmes that brings huge sufferings for the people.
