AL wins three seats in Chapainawabganj 

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 7, 2024 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) nominated candidates 
won all three electoral constituencies of the district in the 12th 
parliamentary elections. 

Awami League candidate Dr. Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul won from Chapainawabganj-
1 (Shibganj) constituency. He got 79,812 votes with "Boat" symbol in the 
polls while his nearest independent candidate Sayed Nazrul Islam polled 
72,709 votes with "Truck" symbol.

AL candidate Md. Ziaur Rahman was unofficially declared elected from 
Chapainawabganj-2 (Nachole-Gomostapur-Bholahat) constituency. He got 1,15,051 
votes in the polls while his nearest candidate (Independent) Md. Golam 
Mostofa Biswas got 66,445 votes with "Eagle" symbol.

Awami League candidate Md. Abdul Wadud won from Chapainawabganj-3 (Sadar) 
constituency by getting 91,603 votes while his nearest candidate of 
Bangladesh Nationalist Movement (BNM) got 8,543 votes with "Anchor" symbol.
