DHAKA, Jan 7, 2024 (BSS) - Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader was elected from the Rangpur-3 constituency in the 12th national parliamentary election held today. 

GM Quader got 81,861 votes with plough symbol while his nearest rival independent candidate Anwara Islam Rani with eagle symbol bagged 23,326 votes, the Election Commission sources said. 

Voting took place at 175 centres in the constituency from 8 am to 4 pm, it added.
