DHAKA, Jan 7, 2024 (BSS) - Barrister Sayedul Haque Sumon was elected from 
Habiganj-4 constituency defeating the Awami League (AL) candidate and 
incumbent State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali.

According to the unofficial results, Suman bagged 169,099 votes with the 
"Eagle" symbol while Mahbub got 69,543 votes with AL's electoral symbol 
"Boat".
