DHAKA, Jan 8, 2024 (BSS) - Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department

(BMD) bulletin issued for 24 hours commencing 9 am today.

"Moderate to thick fog may over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country during midnight till morning. Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may disrupt temporarily due to fog," it added.

Night and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.

Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 29.6 degrees Celsius at Teknaf while today's minimum temperature 11.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at Srimangal.

The sun sets at 5:27 pm today and rises at 6: 43 am tomorrow in the capital.
