DHAKA, Jan 11, 2024 (BSS) - Tripura Chief Minister Prof (Dr.) Manik Saha has congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the landslide victory of Bangladesh Awami League under her leadership in the 12th Parliamentary election. 
 
He wrote to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, "I wish and congratulate you and all the citizens of Bangladesh for the victory of Awami League under your leadership in the election of the 12th National Parliament of the People's Republic of Bangladesh". 
 
The Tripura Chief Minister said, "I think this victory will pave the way for widening peace and progress in this subcontinent". 
 
"This victory will further strengthen our country, India's long-standing traditional friendship with the People's Republic of Bangladesh," he said. 
 
"Besides, exchange opportunities of trade, culture and thinking of our state, Tripura with Bangladesh will expand further," he added.
