DHAKA, Jan 15, 2024 (BSS) - The Dhaka University authorities will hold an

innovation fair on March 4 with the participation of all the faculties,
institutes, departments, halls and offices of the university.
 
In this regard, a coordination meeting chaired by DU Vice Chancellor Dr ASM
Maksud Kamal was held today at senate auditorium, said a university press
release.
 
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr Mohammad Samad, Treasurer
Professor Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, registrar, deans, directors, provosts, chairman
of various departments and Heads of Offices were present.
 
Convener of DU Innovation team Dr Ishtiaque M Syed presented a keynote speech
on 'Display of Innovative initiative' at the meeting.
 
DU VC Dr Maksud Kamal said this innovation fair is being organized to
encourage thoughtful and creative ideas of teachers, students and officials.
 
Through the initiative, professional skills and enthusiasm will elevate in
the administrative and educational programs along with increasing
transparency and accountability among the concerned in improving the quality
of services, said Maksud Kamal.
 
Besides, the Vice-Chancellor hoped that a number of innovative ideas will be
come up through the fair which will further strengthen the industry-academia
relations and cooperation.
