TUNGIPARA, Gopalganj, Jan 30, 2024 (BSS) - A two-day science and technology fair began on the premises of the Kotalipara Shilpakala Academy under Kotalipara upazila of the district today with a view to bestowing an opportunity to the science-minded citizens, and encouraging people to further include science and technology in education system.

Kotalipara upazila administration arranged the fair on the occasion of the National Science and Technology Week at the directive of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Kotalipara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Azim Uddin inaugurated the fair as the chief guest this morning.

Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman Laxmi Sarkar, Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Dolan Chandra Roy, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Siddique Noor Alam, Upazila Academic Supervisor Md. Jasim Uddin, teachers and students of various educational institutions, among others, were present on the occasion.

A total of 16 educational institutions participated in the fair.
