CHATTOGRAM, Jan 30, 2023 {BSS)-A security guard was killed and two youths injured seriously after being hit by a speeding truck at Mohammadpur point of  Anwara end of Bangabandhu Tunnel here early hours of today.

The victim was identified as Anwar Parvez, son of Md Sayed, hailed from Pirkhain village under Anwar upazila of the district.

He was working as a security guard in the Korean EPZ. His family sources said that he was going to his duty place in the morning from his residence at that time.  

The injured people are- Mohammad Basar and Mohammad Azim.
 
Sohel Ahmed, Officer- in-Charge of Anwara thana told BSS that a security guard was killed when a truck ran over him in the tunnel.

The body was brought to the police station. Further legal action is being taken later.
