HANOI, Feb, 1, 2024 (BSS/Xinhua) - Three people in a family died in a fire in Vietnam's northern city of Hai Phong on Thursday morning, Vietnam News Agency reported.

 The fire occurred at a rented one-floor house covering 60 square meters in Vinh Bao district.

 The victims were a 43-year-old woman and her daughter aged 6 and son aged 8.

 Another daughter aged 16 escaped through the back door of the house and suffered from a face burn.

 The father was going to work when the incident happened.
 The case is being further investigated.
