DHAKA, Feb 1, 2024 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, MP, today said the BNP is trying to create discontent among the country's people through communal and ill politics.

 
"BNP is the main patron of communal and undemocratic politics," he told a memorial meeting of language martyrs and a winter-clothes distribution program, organised by Shahbagh Thana's unit Awami League in the city.
 
"BNP-Jamaat is carrying out terrorist activities in the name of movement in order to create anarchy across the country," Nasim said, urging all to remain alert to the BNP's kind of conspiracy.
 
Mentioning that AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working uncompromisingly for the wellbeing of the country and its people, he said, "Our Prime Minister will not bow down to any evil forces."
 
Shahbagh Thana AL President JM Atikur Rahman Atik presided over the meeting, addressed, among others, by vice-presidents of Dhaka city south unit of AL Kamal Chowdhury and Dr Dilip Ray, former general secretary Shah-e-Alam Murad and joint general secretary Miraj Hossain.
