DHAKA, Feb 1, 2024 (BSS) - Prime Minister's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman will join the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) meeting to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday.
Salman will represent the Prime Minister at the meeting for taking integrated strategies and working together to counter militancy, said a press release.
The second meeting of the council will be held on Saturday for determining the next action plan of the IMCTC and discussing among the defense ministers of the member countries about the issues to be coordinated to prevent terrorism.
Saudi Minister of Defense and IMCTC Chairman Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz will preside over the meeting.
To join the meeting, a four-member delegation led by Salman will leave Dhaka for Saudi Arabia tomorrow.
Besides, Salman will also participate in a bilateral meeting with Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud on Sunday.
