DHAKA, Feb 2, 2024 (BSS) – Former member of Durgapur Upazila Awami

League unit and former vice-chairman of Durgapur Upazila Parishad under
Netrokona Nazmul Sayadat Babul passed away at a city hospital.

He was 59.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a city hospital Thursday night,
said a press release signed by AL office secretary Barrister Biplab Barua.

Babul left behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and admirers to
mourn his death.

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister
Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Babul.

In a condolence message, Quader prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul
and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
