DHAKA, Feb 6, 2024 (BSS) - The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) today held a security coordination meeting aimed at observing Language Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day smoothly.

To observe the upcoming Shaheed Dibosh and International Mother Language Day on 21st February with due dignity, the coordination meeting regarding overall law and order and traffic management has been held.

The meeting was held today at the conference room of DMP headquarters with its Commissioner Habibur Rahman presided over it.

Considering the importance and significance of the day, representatives of various intelligence agencies, Proctor of Dhaka University, Directorate of Health, Dhaka North and South City Corporation, Dhaka WASA, representatives of various service organizations of the government including fire service and senior officials of DMP gave valuable opinions in the coordination meeting to ensure the security.

Biplob Kumar Sarker, Joint Commissioner of the DMP presented the overall security plan through Power Point presentation.

Additional Police Commissioner Dr Khandkar Mahid Uddin; Md Munibur Rahman; CTTC chief Md Asaduzzaman; DB chief Mohammad Harun or Rashid, Joint Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners were also present at the meeting.
