DHAKA, Feb 7, 2024 (BSS) - Mozambique President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi has congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her reelection as Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

In a letter sent to Sheikh Hasina, the Mozambique President wrote, "On behalf of the people, the Government of the Republic of Mozambique and on my own behalf, I would like to extend our warmest congratulations for your re-election as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh on the 7th January 2024."

He added, "I am confident that with the Government of Bangladesh under your leadership, the hard working people of Bangladesh will remain united and focused towards economic and social development for the progress and welfare of all."

He continued, "I seize this opportunity to underscore the friendly and cooperation relations existing between our two countries and peoples and reiterate my readiness to continue working with Your Excellency to propel these ties to new heights both bilaterally and multilaterally."

Filipe Jacinto Nyusi ended the letter, giving the assurances of his highest consideration and esteem as well as good health and success in the discharge of Sheikh Hasina's noble duties.
