2 confirmed dead after light aircraft crash in Malaysia

 KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 14, 2024 (BSS/Xinhua) - Malaysian authorities recovered the bodies of two individuals, who were killed in an aircraft crash on Tuesday.

 The two victims are Malaysians aged 30 and 42 and had died at the place of the incident, Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan said in a statement late Tuesday.

 "The police are requesting the help of friends, fire department, CAAM and air units, K9 and forensics to help with the investigation. The victims' family has been contacted to present themselves to the forensic unit of Tunku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Klang for identification," he said.

 The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that two people, including one pilot, were on board a light aircraft which crashed in an oil palm plantation near the town of Kapar in Selangor state.
