CHATTOGRAM, Feb 15, 2024 (BSS) - The first day of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in five districts under Chattogram Education Board (CEB) was held here peacefully today.

   Control room sources said a total of 809 students were absent in the Bangla first Paper of science group in the examination.

   A total of 1,24,338 out of 125,147 examinees from 1125 high schools participated in the examination under 219 centers.

   Controller of examination Prof Mujibor Rahman told BSS that the examination was held peacefully, 72 general vigilance teams including 12 special vigilance teams have been deployed in the exam centres to conduct the exam in a fair and peaceful manner.

   The examinations in Chattogram city and district and districts of Cox's Bazar, Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban began at 10 am.
