RAJSHAHI, Feb 18, 2024 (BSS) - Housing and Public Works Minister Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury has called for implementing the development works with coordination of all concerned for sustainable development.

He said proper coordination of the works being implemented by different government agencies can be the best way of making the development works planned.

The minister made the observation while sharing views with officials of different departments under his ministry at circuit house conference hall here today as chief guest.

"Instead of only earning money, leaving behind a beautiful and habitable Bangladesh for the future generation should be our motto," he said, adding all the works should be implemented with patriotic zeal to attain the cherished goal.

The minister also said timely implementation of the development projects is very important for saving public money from wastage. Transparency and accountability in implementation of the housing projects is also important for the welfare of the people.

In the meeting, all the attending government organizations projected their respective development works along with progress of those through PowerPoint presentations.
