DHAKA, Feb 23, 2024 (BSS) - A court here today allowed bail to five officials of the Transcom Group in three separate cases of money embezzlement, occupying property and handing over company share illegally.

The five accused are- Transcom Group legal adviser Md Fakhruzzaman Bhuiyan, directors of corporate finance Kamrul Hasan and Abdullah Al Mamun, manager Abu Yusuf Md Siddik, and assistant company secretary Mohammed Mossadeq.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shanta Akter passed the order this afternoon.

Shahzreh Huq, daughter of the late chairman and founder of Transcom Group, Latifur Rahman, filed the three cases February 21 with capital's Gulshan Police Station. Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) later arrested the five.
